The federal states and their tasks

Federal Republic of Germany was founded in the year 1990 interesting, 16 Federal states.

Countries form a sovereign state and no loose confederation together under the Basic Law.

These are:

– Baden-Wurttemberg
– Bayern
– Berlin
– Brandenburg
– Bremen
– Hamburg
– Hessen
– Mecklenburg – Vorpommern
– Lower Saxony
– North Rhine-Westphalia
– Rheinland-Pfalz
– Saarland
– Saxony
– Saxony-Anhalt
– Schleswig-Holstein
– Thuringia.

The individual states are responsible, among other things,, for education, Vocational Training, for universities (Study) and kindergartens.

If the professional recognition in Germany, an acquired in your home country vocational training (Study) wish to apply, must submit the application to the competent authority of the state, like where you live and work.

Please also, that you are only in a State, their choice can submit the recognition procedure. It is not allowed to apply for a recognition procedure in several federal states at the same time.
